Namaste
Monet painted beyond the surface of the world,
splashed his canvas with sunlight
look beyond sight, hear my soul whisper to yours
you will not know me until you listen
the way to my heart is gently lit
be still and you will know the way
in the hushed silence we will strike a match
of connection
these earthbound shapes we hold shift endlessly
our cells are restless
we will not be the same tomorrow
as we were last night
our outlines blur into shadows
still we buy into the illusion of solidity,
trying to hide our essence
under the glare of sameness
see beyond my face
let it sift through you
dive beneath surface light refracted
reach for your soul reflected
a single glowing pearl in the depths
my words can be your lifeline
I will spin this thread of connection
and when you look for me
above the drifting sea
my glorious truth will dazzle
my layers of illusion will fall away
I will dissolve into pure light
Monet used silence to tempt the lilies
until they leapt onto his canvas
make the jump into my heart’s truth
and I will paint us in starlight
shine with me
